Are you looking for an exciting new way to empower your students?

About Kid Power

The First Free Streaming-for-Good® Platform

At UNICEF USA, we know kids have the power to make real-world impact every day. Our mission is to inspire KIDS to believe that too… and there’s no better way to believe it than to actually DO it! By playing our Kid Power Up videos, kids unlock critical support (therapeutic food packets, family meals, medical supplies and more) that we distribute to children in our global and local communities.

How It Works

1. Sign Up & Play Videos

Free sign-up takes only 1 minute!

Teachers, groups/clubs and parents sign up. Then, all kids have to do is watch (and interact with) our Kid Power Up videos in class or at home.

2. Unlock Global Impact

Save the lives of children with Severe Acute Malnutrition!

For every 10 videos you play, you unlock 1 Ready-to-use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) packet. We deliver this life-saving, vitamin-rich food to severely malnourished children around the world.

3. Earn Local Impact

YOU decide which local causes your coins benefit!

As you play videos, you also earn virtual coins to allocate in our Kid Power Exchange®. Choose to support food banks or deliver PPE masks (both essential to COVID-19 relief), or plant trees for your local community!

Get Active at School or at Home!

Kids can make an impact whether they are together face-to-face or participating remotely at home this year.

Build a strong class community by playing videos together in class, via video meeting… or assign videos directly to your students at home.

Sign up as a family or click a link sent by a teacher to play videos. Let kids get the wiggles out, so they are ready to focus on their lessons at home… or just have fun together!

Groups & Clubs

Get active as a team by unlocking impact during out-of-school time. To participate, leaders can send kids a link, or groups can watch videos as a group in person or virtually.

What Are Kid Power Ups?

Our Kid Power Ups are 3–5 minute videos that feature physical activity and social-emotional learning. Get kids moving (great “brain breaks”!), spark important discussions, and motivate kids by working together as a class/group or family to help others in our communities.

  • Choose from 150+ videos (with new videos added
each month)–find and share your favorites!
  • Interact with fun movement videos: workouts, dance,
    yoga and meditation.
  • Play social-emotional learning videos that introduce
relevant topics: social justice, change, resilience,
    values and more.
  • Relate to celebrities and characters kids love (from shows
and books), athletes kids recognize and music you all know.

What Teachers Say About UNICEF Kid Power

Support Equity

“It’s a great way to teach my students that you don’t have to have money to make an impact on somebody else’s life.”

Ms. Marengo-Perez, 4th Grade, Florida

Build Teacher-Student Relationships

“We use it on a daily basis. You get the wiggles out, you get the blood flowing… and I think that not only the kids need it, but we need it as well. It’s another opportunity to build relationships and memories with your students.”

Mr. Ecker, 4th Grade, Indiana

Empower Students to Be Global Citizens

“They are perfect for movement breaks, but it also had that added element of really showing my students a way that they can be global citizens. It doesn’t matter how old you are. You have an impact on what’s going on in your world.”

Mrs. T, 2nd Grade, Massachusetts

Kid Power is here to help!

We believe that physical activity in students leads to lifelong increases in mental and social emotional health. That’s why we offer free, fun, and engaging videos that get kids up and moving!

From dance routines to sports drills, there’s something for every kid to enjoy. With the power of physical activity and a built-in “give back” component on the platform, we feel confident that kids will want to continue coming back to Get Active and Save Lives!
