In addition to 170,000 students and 3,400 schools in the U.S. participating in this year’s UNICEF Kid Power Schools program, we are also piloting the program in the Netherlands and United Kingdom.

This is actually the second year we have piloted our international program in these two countries. In 2016, we were able to include about 1,200 students in the pilot. This year, across the two countries, we have about 10,000 students in 110 schools who are joining their U.S. counterparts in learning about global citizenship, getting active, and saving lives! Nonetheless, we are thrilled to see this growth and enthusiastically welcome these dedicated students to our UNICEF Kid Power team!

The Netherlands team is activating with us in March and the UK in both March and April. We look forward to seeing how our friends across the pond do and will share updates on their progress throughout their journey.

Here are a few photos from students launching on their UNICEF Kid Power journey in The Netherlands.
